I am an Irish artist based in Listowel Co. Kerry. I have a B.A. Honours Degree in Fine Art Painting from Limerick school of Art & Design. I have been a self employed artist for many years now mainly working on custom portraits and landscapes and also working on a collection of my own paintings.
I work mainly with coloured pencil and graphite on my custom pieces and oil paint on my own larger paintings. My work explores the figure and the effects of using double exposure with multiple images to create a layered look. This process produces different effects on the skin which deconstructs the features of the face, abstracting its form.
